Hey,

Any recommendations on a good disc cataloging utility? When I worked in an
Apple environment I used a program called Disk Wizard which catalogs all of
one's CDs, DVDs, Zips, and other portable media. It also cataloged the hard
disk. When you queried the database (a text- based database stored in a
directory you specify), it would retrieve the results within seconds because
it was scanning a text based file (database).

I know there are similar products for my Windows XP sp2 setup (Discatalog
and CD Catalog Expert are a couple) which I haven't tried. I guess I'm
looking for a product that is safe and keeps the records of what I catalog
private.

Thanks,

Greg

Answered on a later post stating exactly the same thing.
