I can't uninstall Yahoo Messenger 6 from "all programs" menu, so when I go to Win XP [pro] control panel > add/remove programs > Yahoo Messenger, i get an error "could not open install.log file". What gives? I want this software off my computer. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

yeah msconfig and regedit! its probably easier in safemode tho...so go F8 that mofo up.

how do i remove it from the registry? I mean, i guess I go to RUN > "regedit", but then what? Thank you for your help!
