I just wonder which components in a complete system that is powered by the 3,3V, 5V and 12V respectively.

I guess that at least the P4 is powered by the 12V but am unsure about the Celeron and don't know about AMD Sempron/XP/64.

Motherboard and its integrated components (network, USB, mouse, keyboard etc.)
CPU (Intel)
CPU (AMD)
Memory
Video adapter (AGP)
Video adapter (PCI-E)
Hard drives (IDE)
Hard drives (S-ATA)
Sound card
CDs/DVDs
Floppy
PCI slots
