When I try to uninstall sound devices (AC97) using the Device Manager I get
the following message: "Microsoft Managment Console has encountered a
problem" Then the process shuts down and I am kicked out of the window. I
have uninstalled and reinstalled the software from add and remove program. I
also reinstalled the software from the installation disk. Finally, there is
a Windows update for the sound drivers that keeps crashing when I try to
install it . Is there a simple way to get rid of the device and start fresh?
Thanks! R.M.
