Assassin's creed 2 problem

Hello,
When i turn on my AC 2 along with Game Booster 3 , I click on play and the game starts, but the prob is that the screen remains black i.e the game does not start and even on pressing CRTL+ALT+DEL ,the Task Manager does not come and i cannot do anything, plz help!!!!
I have Advanced System Care v 5.1.0 PRO and avast antivirus 4.8 professional and IO Malware Fighter. I hope these arent causing the problem

Did it work properly before or have you just installed it?

yes it worked properly before and I actually bought it in CD

Try running it without Game Booster. Did the problem start after you installed something, like new drivers, or after you completed a level, or unlocked a new city in AC2?
