I need some suggestions for a new case. I really like the LL's but really dont wont to spend that much. Im looking for something big. Doesnt have to be name brand, and it doesnt have to come with the best fans, etc...... I can add all the goodies myself if need be. Im open for suggestions.

The Antec P180 looks great, but I don't know the price.

It's wise to invest in a good PC case. It's one of the few things you can actually keep when building a new PC, so you'll appreciate a good case and it's initial price will pay back later.

I'd look for an aluminum case. Not only does it look nicer than plastic, but it also dissipates heat way better.

I also am in favour of full towers over mid towers. Nothing particularly wrong with the latter, but the former will give you space to improvise, they allo better modding. Spaced apart harware pieces will not be heating each other, more air, more space, more of everything.

It all depends on how much you want to spend. Plastic mid towers may look stunning at first, but quality is an issue here.

Let me throw this in. Ive got a couple of nice Themaltake cases. What im looking for probably needs to be a server type case. I need to be able to get up inside the thing and host a party if need be  Seriously, I need lots of room.

I have a HUGE steel server case I got several years ago for $400 I do not plan on using. Anandtech rated it excellent.
It is in perfect shape, with a 400 or 500 PSU.

Not only does it look nicer than plastic, but it also dissipates heat way better.

Now go stand in the corner little johnny, here's a dunce cap for you.

The case itself does very little to reduce heat because the fans are so effective in most cases. In fact, plastic cases are the worst conductors, yet you don't see Dell's overheating even with those hot P4's.

Steel is far more durable than Aluminum and a better value.

You might look at a Chenbro full tower. I have one of their older models and although the layout inside looks different from mine what they have now looks pretty roomy.

That was just the case - no PSU, HDD, MB, etc. - it will top your 28KG. Especially with that TT PSU he has - i know that thing is as heavy as your ego!
