For anyone interested, the problem was the motherboard, apparently there
is a bug in the current M/B that makes it slow in initialising devices,
got a new FOXCONN NF4UK8AA and now it flies! around 20sec for a cold
boot to usable in XP SP2. Thks to everyone who contributed an answer.
Lucky for me I got a nice retailer that did everything for me! By the
way have upgraded to a Hyena 500w PSU niceeeeeee.
