There is an article in the Central Maine "Morning Sentinel" titled,
"Central Mainers live part time in the virtual world of Norrath" which
interviews a few local citizens who play EQ. The complete article is

Good article to read, for those that don't go into the depths of it there
was a link to a site that analyses subscribers to mmorpgs which was also

O_O
*sniffle*
I remember the Morning Sentinel...read the funnies every morning with my
cheerios. Awww man, I'm getting all nostalgic now.
Course, my mom STILL reads that newspaper, and she knows I played that
game, so I'm waiting for the call of "Dear...you aren't going to be giving
your car away to anyone because of That Game, are you?".
