It seems my psu is going, so, instead of waiting for it to blow and fry my parts Im just turning it off and buying a new one. Anyways, I just wanted to know whether you guys thought this would be a suitable psu for my pc.

My specs are:

P4 3.0
1 Gig pc3200 (soon to be 2 gigs)
PNY 6800gt
sound blaster live 5.1 (soont to be audigy 2 zs)
1 cd r/w drive
1 80 gig hard drive (some cheap one that came with my old compaq I just moved it to my custom)

Anyways, this -- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817103937 -- would be good enough for my rig. Gotta be better than the "450" w that came with my case.

Thx for the help guys.

I guess it might depend on who made that PSU.

I have never owned an Antec but they get good reviews.

Why do people buy cases with a generic PSU?(not a flame)
