Hey,
I have a 250Watt PSU, wondering if it has enough power to hold up these specs:
P5 1.5 Ghz Willamette
i 850 Dell custom mobo
1 x 40 gig hard drive
512 megs PC-800 rd ram (2 x 256)
Creative sound blaster live PCI sound card
ATi Radeon 9600XT 128 megs
1 x CD drive
1 x Modem card.
This is a Dell Dimension 8100, and I'm upgrading the video card from a GeForce 2 MMX.
Thanks

What 6600GT would work with a 250 W power supply?

Most of the ones I've seen all ask for a min. of 300 W. I have a crappy 220 W PSU on my SFF and I'm having trouble with my 6800NU. If you know of any of the 6600GT/6800NU that do work with a 220 W PSU, can u lemme know?

d00d, it's a Dell power supply, it's rated at continuous load. Most retail power supplies are rated at peak load.

It will work. In fact, I doubt the 9600XT draws over 15W more than the GeForce2 MX.
