Hello everyone, my question is what should I upgrade or add to my computer to be able to record these games at 60FPS? Is it the graphics card? The hard drive?

Battlefield 3 (mid-high settings with no AA or AF is fine)
L4D2 (high settings with 4x)
TF2 (high settings with 4x)

My computer components are :

i7 920 @ 2.67 GHz
ASUS Sabertooth X58 Motherboard
EVGA GTX 460 SC Edition
12GB Kingston HyperX @ 1600 MHz
1TB 7200rpm HDD

Thanks for the future answers! :)

EDIT : I have a 1920x1080 monitor and will only play games on one monitor. :p

A 570 should do you, I'd have thought, especially if you OC.

The H100 is on a par / a bit better than high-end air. It'll be lower noise for good cooling, and no weight hanging off your mobo.

It is not the hard drive. You have good specs but you didn't show the PSU brand and how many watts it is. If your PSU is good and you have a good budget to work with.

Then I would look at the AMD HD 7950 and OC your CPU a little then again your PSU comes into play. Is it good or bad? BF3 uses a lot of Vram and the 7950 has 3 gigs on it and will run it on ultra.

The worst possible GPU for BF3 on high would probably be a 6950, but a 7950 would definitely last you much longer.
I think you should OC that 920 significantly. 3.5ghz would probably do it. Do you have an aftermarket heatsink? If not, get one. The Hyper 212 EVO would be fine ($35).

I don't believe I can afford a 7950, but would a 570 suffice? Is it worth it to save up to a 7950? Or should I try to hold off for the supposed 600-series from Nvidia?

Also, if I do overclock, would a H80 or H100 be a more significant change in temperatures? Because my home is practically made of dust and heat. : (

Grab a twin Frozr 7950 and a nice cooler for the lovely 920, H100 if you want watercooling or a Phanteks air cooler, if you can fit em in your case you can easily get that 920 to 4ghz+ (50% OC).

Which 570 brand should I buy? Would a regular EVGA 1.2GB be fine?

I use Fraps at 60 FPS, full-size, and sometimes add Lossless RGB Capture. Any suggestions on a HDD?
