OK My current comp is a HP pavilion a320n with a 300W PSU with the following:
2x256 pc2700 ddram
amd athlon 2800 (integrated gfx card atm)
ASUS A7N8X-LA
120GB 5400rpm hard drive

I switched one of the 2 rams to a 512mb 3200 ddram and occasionally (4 times) the comp just restarts itself, since its written as one of the symptoms of overloaded computer im wondering if this is it?

I noticed no major difference in temp and voltages with MBM5

I crawl inside

RAM only uses 2-4watts I believe so I doubt very much it is overloading your system.
I think the most likly problems are that either A) The SPD values of the PC3200 give lower timmings than the PC2700 can handle OR b) The system is trying to run the PC2700 and PC3200 speeds.
