Like the title says, when i hook up these two with hdmi, i get no signal from the monitor, and so the xbox wont even boot up to the logo screen, so no - the Y+RT trick doesnt work, any other suggestions?

I know the hdmi in my xbox works, ive used it on my tv.
I know the hdmi on my monitor works because i use hdmi from my PC to it.

What gives? :??:

there could be something weird that the xbox doesn't recognize the monitor for boot up. try starting it up on your tv then switching over to the monitor see if that fixes your problem.

both tv, monitor, and xbox are 1920x1080. ive tried both that and 1080p settings from the xbox, and tried swapping from tv to monitor, still nothing

strange, the only explanation I have is xbox outputting 1080i tv is able to upscale to 1080p while the monitor is not. if that's not the case then either you have a defective monitor or something else is defective.

give asus support a call and see what they know
