I have an old SIS 530 mobo that has onboard pins for an ethernet connection. where can i get an onboard ethernet adapter?

you mean it has a space for it on the mother board? you cant just buy the stuff that goes in that place, i suppose you could get them all and solder it on yourself but you would be better off getting a separate one.

You're probably off buying a separate one, since those cards are so inexpensive nowadays anyway.
