I have used Add/Remove Programs to try to UNinstall Quicktime6, but the
listing THERE seems permanent, and the TweakUI for XP does not have its
earlier option of enhancing Add/Remove. Moreover, all (?) the files are
still in the Quicktime folder in Program Files. That is not a problem
as I can delete them. But there are also zillions of Quicktime entries
in the Registry. Which of the numerous Registry-fixing softwares will
specifically remove entries such as Quicktimes from the Registry ?

It's so much easier to suggest solutions when you don't know too much about
the problem
