Battlefield 3 - Requirements and INFO

I have a pc usually used for graphic designing and gaming . can run latest games at decent settings.specifications are as follow.
1-Core 2 quad (q6600)
2-4 GB ddr3 RAM
3-ASUS striker II motherboard(3-way sli)(motherboard is worth BD 150)
4-ASUS power supply(with sleeved wires)
5-ASUS VENTO CASE (3600)
6-ASUS 8800GTX (with 128 cuda core can runs latest computer games)
7-ASUS Silent Cooler for CPU.
8-ASUS DVD writer
9-TWO HARD DISKS (1-250GB , 2-300GB)


just want to ask will it play all the new games like battlefield 3 ....

As per the latest ‘intel’, the system requirements announced for the game are as under:

Minimum requirements for Battlefield 3
• OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7
• Processor: Core 2 Duo @ 2.0GHz

I came across an odd thing the other day, for nvidia cards BF3 needs DX10, for ATI its needs 10.1 according to a splash screen that stopped someone I know playing on thier DX10.0 ati card.

It'll run it OK I think, medium perhaps.

I think it should be okay to run the game at medium to high settings. Just don't turn on AA.
