DHCP Problems

When I try to release my IP with ipconfig on Windows 2000 Pro I get an error that says: "All apadters bound to DHCP do not have DHCP addresses. The adresses were automatically configured and can not be released." How can I undo this nonsense so I can get back on the net.

Now we're rockin like dokken!
