I am having huge problems connecting two computers using 2 network cards in one computer, one that is receiving my broadband and the other that is supposed to connect to the other computer, and then another network card in the second computer to recieve the broadband. For some reason both network cards that are connecting to eachother say my ethernet patch cable is unplugged. I've tried several cables thinking one might have been bad but they all do not work. And the ethernet cards all work because i can connect them to my DSL and they receive internet just fine. I've tried tons of tech support, friends who frequently network computers, and I cannot find any answers to my problems. Guys help!!!!!!

u will need a crossover cable to connect the two computers together. or just get a cable/dsl router and run both computers to it using the standard cables.
