My pc doesnt run games like i think it should

here are my specs

my mother board is a foxconn digitlife A79A-S
windows 7 unlimited 64bit
AMD Phenom II x4 940 Processor 3.00GHz
4GB of ram
Radeon x1950 Pro

i had bought GeForce GTX 570 graphics card and it only help my FPS by like 10FPS which to me isnt work the 400$ i paid so i returned it and replace my old Radeon x1950 Pro,

currently i play WoW and Garysmod WoW runs between 15-30 FPS sometimes lower

any help would be greatly appreciated

Did you check to find if you had a bottle neck before you sent that GPU back?

i think its what you can expect from your motherboard heres a review that shows its not a fantastic performer it depends on what settings your trying to play the game on take a look at the link and look at page 9
