Hey chaps & chapesses

I've just recently wiped my PC harddrive and I'm in the process of re-installing everything. I've run into a problem in that I can't connect to my Broadband connection.

I downloaded the drivers for my network card yesterday at work from the D-Link website, but when I tried to install them last night, it told me the network card was not working properly and that the drivers had not installed properly.

What am I doing wrong?

Network Card: D-Link DFE-530TX
Modem: Motarolla (don't know of the specific model)
OS: Windows 98

Is there a better driver to get?

I don't have winzip on my machine, could the self extractor on the zip files not worked properly?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am waaaay out of my depth here.

delete the NIC from the dev mgr, then reboot and let it "find" the card again, and point it to the directory that you unzipped to. Hopefully that will do it.
