I'm using Emagic Locic Audio which requires a hardware key for the programme
to run. The programme runs but sometimes hangs for a few seconds. This
affects keyboard and mouse usage as well as the screen display. e.g if I'm
playing back a file, the sound continues OK but the scrolling screen display
hangs momentarily and then just starts up again.
I have unplugged and replugged the key as well as uninstalled and
reinstalled the application.
That made no difference.
Looking in the services area of Device Manager I see a reference to a HID
Service which will not start. When I try to start it manually the error
message informs me that the system can't find the file in the specified
location yet it is present in that location. Any ideas as to a resolutuion ?
Perhaps the HID Service isn't the problem at all
All input welcome as this is driving me potty !!
thanks Ted
