Hey all,

I have been going through some troubleshooting with my new system, trying to judge/improve my FPS. While I have trouble in World of Warcraft, (get 20-30 fps in 25 man raids during stressful situations) some have suggested that I try other games and see what kind of results I get from that. At the moment, the only other game I have that would be good for benching is the original Crysis. Updating the client to 1.21 and running both the CPU and GPU benchmarks via the benchmark tool, I get the following results:

1920x1080, No AA, rest default settings (no checks next to 64 bit or DX9/10), Max Settings
GPU
Min FPS: 25.57, Max FPS: 51.32
Run #1- DX10 1920x1080 AA=No AA, 32 bit test, Quality: VeryHigh ~~ Overall Average FPS: 46.555

CPU

Min FPS: 30.86, Max FPS: 60.99
Run #1- DX10 1920x1080 AA=No AA, 32 bit test, Quality: VeryHigh ~~ Overall Average FPS: 48.66

As mentioned, I am trying to judge if these results are normal. Here is my setup
2700k stock speeds
570 stock speeds
16GB 1600 RAM
1050 PSU
120GB SSD
Z68 Deluxe Mobo

Thank you all for your input!

Temperatures are fine, well under the limits. I am using the XMP for my ram, so its profile has configured the settings. Using the latest drivers for everything. I assure you, all the little things have been done.

Does anyone have opinions on the benchmark results?

That is under the speed of what you should be running as I get around 20-30 fps with my core i5 2500 with 4gb ram and a GT430 GPu I am not sure what it should be running I just know that is lower en what it should be
Your running a i7 2600k
With 16gb ram and a GTX 570
You should have a massive fps difference in crysis to me as everything is vastly greater in speed
