Hey guys, I've been having a problem with getting Crysis to work on my Windows 7 64-bit gaming build. I installed and everything up to running the game has been smooth and effortless. However, whenever I try to run the game (I'm running Crysis64 in Vista compatibility mode), my resolution goes to 1024x768 and the screen completely goes back. When I try to alt+tab or open the task manager, the game crashes and I have to close out. Help please!

I had a problem setting crysis to 1920 x 1080, it would stick in 1024 x 768. Is that what is hapenning to you?

There is an ini file in my documents\crysis (location could be wrong!) I had to manually enter 1920 x 1080 in that file to get it to work.

It crashes after a while for me, apparently due to a memory leak that was never fixed.

EDIT - found the 1920 x 1080 fix, instructions below :-

You can specify custom resolution in the system.cfg. Go to the Crysis folder and search for system.cfg, if you don't have one just create a txt file then rename it to system.cfg. Then paste these settings in.

con_restricted = 0
r_width = 1920
r_height = 1080
r_VSync = 0
d3d9_TripleBuffering = 0
r_displayinfo = 0
sys_physics_CPU = 3
s_SpeakerConfig = 5
