It absolutely is. It is also quite the system smasher on ultra settings. Looks great, and is a good mature tale.

I find the controls a little less intuitive than other games, but surprisingly that doesn't greatly detract from the experience.

Yes, and especially because when CD Projekt releases the Enhanced edition, you will automatically get all of that content for free! And it's a bad a** game.
