Could i run Battlefield 3?

hey guys, just wondering if i can run BF3 and to what settings

My specs;
Motherboard-Micro star MS-7379
OP- Windows 7 64bit
Processor- AMD athlon 64 x2 dual core 5000+ (2.8ghz)
Ram- 4gb (DRR2)
Graphics card- GTX 285
Hard drive- 1tb

I was looking at the Phenom ii x6 series but i dont know if i can use it on my motherboard and i dont know which series i should get?
Can your recommend a decent one?

Are you sure thats your motherboard? when i try to look it up it appears as a socket 775 (ancient Intel) socket so couldn't have the athlon processor on it.

When i use run system on my pc that is what comes up but whenever i use everest it says that my motherboard is "unknown"

EDIT: i have installed CPUID and this is my motherboard "K9A2-Platinum"

I'd recommend a phenom II X4 960T. Its a quad running at 3.0GHZ you can overclock it very well and if your motherboard allows it you may be able to unlock it to a 6 core.
