I am a Domain Administrator and I have my Windows XP machine joined to our
internal domain, but I do not log onto the domain, I log on locally as the
local Administrator, and when I "lock computer" I unlock it and it just sits
there with the desktop wallpaper for at least 60 seconds, during this time, I
have music playing in the background and it still plays without any
disturbances. Even with the music off, it just sits there. This just
started ocurring last week when I installed ALL critical Windows Updates, now
it just hangs there for a period of time, then everything shows up like
nothing, and the event viewer shows nothing. Anybody else seeing this or
have any ideas?
