When I right-click to -Save Image- on a graphic file, the -Save As- window
pops up and it lets me go through all the motions of selecting a location and
name for the file, but then it does not actually save it when I click the
-Save- button.

The file does NOT get saved. And the progress and completion window does
not come up to confirm the save.

And yes, I am absolutely positive that I am looking at the correct location
for the files I attempt to save. They just are not being saved. The
confirmation window does not come up after clicking the -save- button like it
used to.

[Sorry for asking this same question twice, but I accidentally marked the
original question as -answered- so I don't expect anybody else to read it.]

Anybody else experienced this that can help me out? Thanks in advance!
