Anyone having problems monitoring the Chassis fan on the Asus A7V. I have version 1.01 and bought a monitored chassis fan which i've attched to the chassis fan header on the mobo. In the bios it takes a couple of seconds to POP up from 0. In PCProbe in WinME it comes and goes back to 0 so I have to disable moniotoring of Chassis Fan. I think the problem is that is has a thermosensor of its own, but I'm not sure. I'm using bios ver. 1004D and converted to PCProbe 2.12.3 to no avail. Anybody have any Ideas?

I thought I was the only one with this problem, I assumed it was caused by my fan. Maybe not! I join you in a quest for the solution. How 'bout it guys? Any answers?

I have this exact same problem as well.
WTF??
I have tried several fans and I don't get any readings at all.
Can we get a little help in here?

Yep, me too. I have rev 1.02 and bios version 1004D. The only fan monitoring I get in CMOS or Asus Probe is the cpu fan.

Any ideas to get the other fans to show?

Well Guys there seems to be a new bios release 1005.03e. I'm going to flash it on this evening and I'll let you know if it fixes the Fan monitoring situation. If not I guest we'll find out what it fixes or breaks.

I do not think that this problem has anything to do with the bios. I have an A7V rev. 1.02 and have used 1.03, 1.04 and 1.05 bioses. The fan monitoring feature in Probe has worked with them all. I use case and cpu fans.
Are you using 3 wire case fans?
