has anyone else had the experience of Doom III running shitty on ATI cards?

Intel Pentium 4 - 400Mhz FSB - 2.4Ghz
- 1152mb pc-133 - Ati Radeon 9700 128Mb

i can't even get more than 10fps on that leak.

You get 10fps you suck. I get 30 with my mx440

Ya, turn the high quality sound and watch your fps grow by 20 or so =)

i'm playing it at full effects and 1024 * 768 that's why it's less than 10fps. Well after bringing it down to 640*480 and all effects off it boost to 30-40fps.
