Any known issues downloading c and c generals zero hour update 1 04

Hello,

I have been having issues downloading the command and conquer generals zero hour update 1.04. I get and error saying "old file not found, however a file of the same name was found. No update since file contents do not match"

If someone can please help me out and let me know what the issue is, it would be well appreciated.

Are you using a non-legit game? It will never patch if your using a crack exe. and it's bad to discuss here.

I never use non-legit games. I bought this copy at the store a few years ago. I bought a mac replacing my old PC, but had to buy another PC since I'm so addicted to this game. So now I have a Mac i absolutely love and a PC i use for gaming and other stuff.

the only way you will get this error is if your either using a crack or your trying to apply a us version to an eu version... or vise versa... check your version and download the correct matching patch...
if you still cant get it to work its likely an o.s compatibility issue.

Could be a OS compatibility issue. I am running it on a Windows 7-64-bit system when its made for xp-32 bit. Thanks for your help!
