the first unveiled posted concerning the direclty SPEC CFP2000 performance comparison between the Pentium 4 and Athlon Thunderbird runs with DDR SDRAM

maybe those figures are a little biased, i dont know if you have seen what tom has to say on the matter but as far as he is concerned the PIV will have trouble competing with the Coppermine 1GHz, and as we can all accept that a Thunderbird is as good as if not better than a Coppermine then dont these figures seem a little fixed to you?? Anyway we all know that PR is a big game i can prove by saying that my Thunderbird 800is special and if i times it byt the speed of the L1 cache ie 800*128 (compare it to the times of a identical Coppermine 800 * 32 ) it works out that my CPU is 102'400/25'600 = 4 times faster. And i dont even work in PR lol. Anyway i still think the PIV will be good but no where near as good as those figures suggest

I am sorry <b>Tnaw</b>, but honestly I don't believe this. I think they have a lot of mistakes in numbers.
