I purchased an A7V board to go along with my Duron 750. I was able to successfully unlock the multiplier on the chip and I now wanted to try to up the voltage on the Mobo, but I am having a difficult time placing the resistor the way Tom shows in his article "Tuning Extreme: Overclocking with the Asus A7V." Can I solder the resister from the back of the VRM module? If so I does anyone no which holes in the back of the VRM module?

Or if someone has had luck with soldering from the front side of the VRM I would like to know which side would be easier to work from.
Thanks.

I just soldered from the front...

If you solder the resistor directly onto the module:
you can tin the leg of the resistor first, then place the soldering iron on the leg, heating it up. Then place the leg on the module. This way, the soldering iron doesn't have to be in the way..

Maybe you've succeeded already, but good luck anyway =o)
