Celery vs Duron

I had a celery 466 (ppga) on my asus P3V4X and it couldn't even oc to 525 (+0.2V/PC133 RAM) and I was pissed. So i swapped it for one at work (same old PPGA cel 466) and it can even post at 600! My main prob is that at a conservative 80 FSB (560MHz) I get crashes sometimes. The PCI runs at 40MHz at this speed and I'm wondering if this is what could be causing it or the AGP, but I'm not sure wot to do with the AGP bus.

Also, I'm thinking of swappin the rig for a Duron and A7V. Only problem is, which duron?? Go for a 650 which is cheaper or a 750, which may have a higher yield and therefore oc better. Or go for an athlon???

Here in australia the prices aren't too cheap :(
