I dont know what the problem is, and it really isnt a big problem but I thought that you people may have a suggestion. The CPU fan port on my motherboard doesnt work. When you turn the computer on the fan just like jump starts and dies immediately. I have 2 other fan ports that work fine, but I didnt know what was causing the jumping (because it is only on that port)and I didnt know if I had shorted out the port or what? The rest of the board works fine!

Any input is helpfull

Thanks!

Why not write off this particular mainboard fan riser? Make or buy a 3 to 4 pin converter and plug the fan into the main power "daisy chain."
