Does anyone know when the update to the V710 is coming out.
Phonescoop has it up on their website. The motorola E815, But it dosen't
indicate when the phone might be released.
For those of you who haven't seen it here are a few pics:

No word yet. It seems to still be in the testing stages at this time.

Another flop? I seriously think moto's attempt at the V710 was horrible.
Verizon's ONLY bluetooth model, and that's the ONLY reason why it would be
purchased anyway.

Exactly: it's BT implementation is restricted to the headset only and it
is very good except for the ringer not working when the BT radio is
active- an annoying and potentially deal-breaking flaw - take off the
headset and there is no audio call indication possible. I've set up a
shortcut for enabling/disabling the BT radio that takes care of this but
it is a step that should not be required. ...and, BTW, the incredibly
deficient Moto/Verizon user manual makes no mention of how to manage the
BT system save for getting the handset/headset association working, so
the user must do the hardware research on how to turn the headset off
and make the ringer work. IMO, the headset is the only reason for the
v710 over any other Verizon phone, but its BT management and
documentation is incredibly deficient.

Only the people that actually have the V710 understand how bad it really is.
My cheap $29 Nokia does circles around any moto ever made....except my good
old friend the V60i. A no games, no gimmick all business phone.
