BF3 Crashes to desktop / BSOD

Hi everyone lately i have been having issues with my PC games. Every time i play for about 30min to hour my games CTD, today i just installed my new gtx 570 sc from gtx 550ti. When i had my 550ti, games would CTD alot faster, after this upgrade it take some time. I dont know know what the issue is? I reformatted this PC 2 times thinking it maybe might fix the issue and it still happens. Has anyone every experience this before?

More about crashes desktop bsod
  1. This my computer spec

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.3GHz w/Corsair Hydro Series H60 liquid cooling
    Asus P8Z68-V LX motherboard
    Ram:16gb
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570
PC Power and Cooling S75QB 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS
  2. Your PC is almost exactly like mine and I had the same issues for a long time.
First do not overclock, second update to the most recent drivers for GPU. If your game still crashes then next try to disable any Realtek devices like audio and network card, try one at a time. I replaced my NIC with an Intel gigabit NIC and a HT Omega audio card. After all that I still had very high CPU load on multiplayer so i switched to the Core i7 2700k which now is running 75% load and no more crashing, all that for BF3!
  3. Thanks billj214 I will disable my sound card and and my nic card and post my results. I just purchased this i5 and it would suck if it can't handle Bf3 or any other game I have. I picked up a new psu and case for better air flow, I also picked up a sound card as well. I will be doing these changes over this week and I let you know how it goes.
  4. besides installing fans randomly, have you checked the actual temperatures?
  5. I have the GTX 560ti DIRECTCU ii TOP OC

and I had exactly the same issues.
The only way I fixed it, was to take the game back to where I bought it, and wrote a big bad complaint against EA.
  6. Try running memtest86, could be memory failure or a bad dimm slot. http://www.memtest.org/
  7. I replaced my PSU and installed a sound card, I disable my Realtek audio and still nothing. Any game i play its locks up and say its "Stopped Working" what other factors should be looking for on my machine?

Iam going to try the memtest venjhammet.

    ill keep you guys posted.
  8. Well im running a memtest and it finding a bunch off errors. Its up to 6400 errors, I just got these memory sticks 3 months ago. Any idea what might be wrong guys.
  9. DOA sticks, wrong timings, bad mobo slots. take out all the sticks except one and rerun the tests using each stick 1 by 1, then try different slots for with a stick that's working good.
  10. AntiZig you were right I switched my Ram and and everything is working fine now.
