Athlon heat issues

Hey, I have a non-tbird Athlon 800 overclocked to 900MHz using a ninja micro GFD
I have a tower case with a front and rear cooling fan
I'm using a thermaltake goldenorb for cooling
Now she runs at around 47.8C idle and about 51C when thrashed...
My question is, am I cooling enough or too little? How hot should it run? Didn't Tom post a guide to Athlon heat once? Is there a guide anywhere on the 'net (I haven't found one though)...
Thanks in advance!

Guybrush286,

Hi there. 51C should be fine. My Athlon 650 runs at the same temprature. Most BIOS temprature monitor set a warning at 65C. Also, according to the technical specification on AMDs web site, they suggest both Athlon and Duron can run up to 90C, though it wasn't recommended.]

I'm not sure about any guides. I had a look myself a while back, but couldn't find any. Instead, I got the answer from this forum in fact.

I hope this information is of use to you,

Regards, Paul.
