Getting audio on my USB headset.

Hi, I am trying to get audio only from my ps3 to my USB headset. I'm connected VIA HDMI to my receiver. As some of you may know, you can't hear the in-game audio with the headset. You can only hear the other player's chat. I was thinking of a way to route the audio from my ps3 to my pc and connect the USB headphones to my pc. OR some how connect it to my receiver. I have a Yamaha Rx-v365. Hopefully, this made sense. (I dont care for chatting with others, all I care about is in-game sound). Thanks!
