Finally did it... my t-bird 800 -> 950 on asus a7v (9.5 x 100)
but had to max out my voltage with moboard jumpers to get it..

I tried to take it to 1Ghz with multipliers, but it was a no-go

I also tried by increasing the Fsb, but I can't go any higher without it crashing....

So anyone else who has any tips at how I could get it up to 1Ghz pleez please pleez suggest something ... thanks

btw... GW FOP38 @ 35C/95F and plenty of other cooling :)

you can try extreme voltage increase like Tom shows in his article Extreme Overclocking the Asus A7V. Too bad you couldn't get that bus speed up. That really helps. My friend's duron allowed 110 bus on a KT7 RAID. Try increasing the bus I/O voltage if you can on the A7V.

since u go tit running in 9.5x, so of cuz u did the birdges. duh~

not try and get a more powerfull powersupply
if urs is a 350W, change it. not good enough to give the CPU a "smooth flow" of electrons..

and if that failed, i guess u can try solaring a resistor on as instructed which i dun recommend you to do
