Title gives a simple layout

I need to know how many FPS i would get on an Asus GTX 550 TI SLI
Here's the URL:
http://www.playtech.co.nz/afawcs0139235/CATID=/ID=15810...

I am still wondering so could you tell me how many FPS i would get on BF3 or Crysis 2 on ultra?
On Battlefield 3 ultra with no AA i'd say you'd get in mutiplayer on various maps around 40-60 fps , I dont know about Crysis 2 but i'd say you could run it on high not ultra.

But dont get SLI 550s! either wait til the new Nvidia cards come out or get a Radeon 7950 or a Nvidia 570

7950:

you would probably get around 55-60 with 4x aa look at some more specific benchmarks the reason you should usually go with the 570 vs 2 550s is that a single video card is gonna be more supported in most games as 2 cards aren't as reliable.

Really you should be choosing if 350-450$ is your budget between these:

and if you have enough money i would get this:

because its a 28nm card it gives more preformance than a GTX 580 for cheaper and it overclocks like a beast

FattyPatty Is right on the money. I can tell you for sure with out a doubt that the 550's in SLI and OC'd in BF3 tops would be 40fps, then when it heats up it drops to 30 to 35 fps.

I have two of them right now and I have tried BF3 which I can't play but one of my son's played on my rig. All the settings were on high then med. It heated up my cards to 78c.

The 570 will take just about anything you can through at it and still have good fps plus run 60c + temps. And the 550 ti you linked to what is so different about that card then the normal $129.00 card from newegg?

Heck I could buy a 560 ti for $199.99 with the rebate. I will link you to them as well. The 570 is the card to go with in my opinion. The third link shows a 550 vs 570 even if you double the 550 the 570 still out does it. Good luck to you.

I used to run two 550Tis in SLI, and then I returned them about two days later. They really performed poorly. Id rather have one of my 560Tis over a dual 550Ti setup. Trust me, do your friend a favor and tell him to save up or take the 550 back for a single 560Ti.
