I am using Windows xp and just upgraded to 1046 mgs of ram. It still takes
a while to open up my mail and open certain websites. I have gone to system
config and disabled most of those, so I don't know what else might be
running to make website and my yahoo mail open up slow. I wrote to my
comptuer mgr and they suggested I upgrade my ram and I did to the now 1046,
but that didn't make any difference at all in the speed. Can someone help?
Thanks.

The computer running has slowly a few reason as follows:
1.You of the computer is too many Auto Startup Applications.
2. virus.
3.spyware.
I recommend use "Security expert' with you. It can resolve these
problems.

Run "windows task manager" click on the processes tab and sort by "CPU".
Determine what is using up your CPU. You may find an adaware or spyware
application running or some other application you don't need.
You may have difficulty determining what a process is and if it is needed.
I do a google search on the Image name and have a lot of luck determining
what the process is and if it is required or how to eliminate it.
