ok so I formatted windows and installed a fresh copy and moved origin/bf3 folders to another hard drive so I didn't have to download 12gb + 4gb patch again

now origin won't run

wondering what I should do

windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

legit copy of bf3

Origin needs to be installed on the same drive that your operating system is installed on.

It did not need to be on the windows OS partition before

are the game files + patch files able to be copied over? I mean, will origin see them as legit files and not re-download them if I re-install origin?
