I've had my NEC FE950 for almost a year now and I really like it. It looks great running at 1600x1200x32 and I have had no problems until just recently. Now I notice my monitor slowly dimming and occasionally brightening back up to normal all of the sudden (I haven't found these occurances to correspond with anything else). So I was playing counterstrike tonight and it dimmed so that even with gamma/monitor-brightness all the way up I still couldn't see anything in some areas of the map, so I turn off the monitor and turn it back on and its back to normal (which at this point was WAY too bright cuz of my adjustments).

Anyway, after a while it does it again and powering the monitor off and back on fixes it again. So I've tried moving my monitor from the power switch to the wall outlet (since my power strip is ghetto) and also degaussing it and moving my speakers even farther away, all of which made no difference at all.

I'm hoping this is something that someone might have an idea on how I could fix it since even though its under warranty I can't find my reciept :/ I might be able to find it eventually but I'm not counting on it.

Anyone else have this problem?
