Linux to windows 7

alright guys im running kubuntu and only kubuntu on my pc but i want to install windows 7 on my pc. How do i do this the exe files and the dos files dont work on linux and to top it all off when i boot my computer it doesnt even recognize the install disk only my hdd.

    You'll want to create a separate partition and install Windows 7 there.
    GParted (Gnome Partition Editor) can do that for you.

    You need to go into BIOS to make sure the DVD drive is present and working then change the Boot Sequence so that the DVD boots first. Back up all your files in Kubuntu in case W7 wipes all the Partitions - it has been known.
