I have both Windows XP and Linux-Unix installed in our
Computer lab. Our default OS is Windows. So all the
printers are taken care of in this environment only. But
if someone sends prints from Unix commands or Linux then
the files won't show on the printer queues and it will be
printed even if I keep printer paused and under watch.

Is there any solution like I can see Linux prints in
queues, or maybe I can access printer queues from Linux
so that I can prevent unauthorized printing??

Thanks and regards,

Tejas

What type of "server" are the linux machines connecting to? Are you using
SAMBA or LPR to print from linux?

If you are using SAMBA get the latest version and you should be able to
browse and connect to a Windows shared printer rather than setting up a
config file.

If you want to print in LPR format make sure that LPD service is installed
on the Windows machine and that it is configured to autostart

Take a look at the system event log for errors as well. You may need to
setup a passthrough queue if the print is not postscript.
