multiple fans

My friend harold did this to his athalon. He took of the plastic casing for his cpu and used 6 regular old cooling fans. he stacked 2 on top of each other right over the main processor and then 2 stacked next to it. Then he thermal glued 2 of them on the other side right on the board.

I figured i would let you know that the casing on the athalons comes right off (slot types). This is very possible and effective if you have a bunch of regular fans laying around.

Another thing. Every power supply has a useable fan in it (10mm). I raided 4 old 486's and cleaned the dust off the fans for re-useable air flow. I just figured i would add that in for someone who may not have known.

i am all bout' low budget computing and re-using old stuff.
