We want to create a TIF file with MS Fax but not send it.
There is a way to "fudge" the Fax application into creating it, but not sending it?
It can be by command line or macro code.

You can disconnect the phone cord. The fax will be created but the
program will be unable to send it. You should be able to find it in
the Outbox. You should also be able to schedule a fax to be sent at
a later time. I have not tried this so I do not know if the
document for faxing is created immediately or at the time scheduled
for sending. Logic would indicate that it would be created
immediately because you might not save a one-time note you are
faxing so it might not be around when the faxing actually is
attempted.
