O/C software?

anyone know of software that will allow me to o/c my computer, i have a compaq and its motherboard is i believe custome made and i want to change by 66mhz bus to 83.

Thanks for the link, but i dont know what kind of motherboard i have, its from a compaq computer and it weird that it only had 4 pci slots and thats it, no agp or pci. Is there anyway i can find out what kind of mobo i am using?

Well, I know from some other posts, Compaq has motherboard info on their web site, though I suspect they wouldn't have the info you need. The motherboard is probably proprietary. Does any of your documentation point you in the right direction...a web site perhaps? Sorry, perhaps someone with a Compaq can be of more help.

Hi, the only thing about Soft FSB is that it requires that you to know what the PLL chip manufacturer is ecetera,

Your best bet and also the option which yields the best results would be to change the dip switches.
