Athlon 'C' and KT133

Does anyone know if the new 133MHz Athlons work on the old KT133 mainboards? (Namely, the A7V, rev. 1.02)
If they do, do they run reliably at 133MHz FSB? Or is KT133 unstable >~110MHz regardless of the CPU?

i don't think you can get the kt133 chipset much higher than 110 reliably.
a little wishfull thinking on via's part.

too bad though :)

I guess my question has been answered..

"Duron does not officially support this new bus clock yet [133MHz], but it works just fine." http://www.tomshardware.com/cpu/01q1/010108/duron850-05.html

"This board [AMD Corona] forces a 266 MHz FSB, and the Duron (600 MHz, FSB 200 MHz) overclocked to 800 MHz."

It seems like that these standard Duron 100MHz processors can run at 133MHz reliably, so the KT133 would be the factor limiting the FSB to ~110MHz...
too bad... now I'll have to find another way to raise the FSB... :frown:
