I have "upgraded" from Nt 4.0 to XP pro. now when i print to my emulex print
server on one printer (hp 5si) the job disappears.
when i print to my second printer (hp 4100) it works (same model print
server) i have verified the server settings, both are the same except for ip
address.
other NT 4.0 stations still work fine. the problem only follows XP pro
client..
anyone have suggestions?

It was the Standard tcp/ip in XP and it is a Extended systems model 2833A
firmware datecode 9935A
problem seems to follow Msoft PCL 5e driver , bettter behaved on PCL 4 using
4si driver on the 5si printer
we left it on the 4si driver to date seems to work, the 5si was no good at
all
